ACPS Launches Communities In Schools Model

Albemarle County Public Schools has partnered with Communities in Schools of Northern Virginia (CIS NOVA) for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Five site coordinators and a program manager have been hired to support four schools in the county and will serve 3,300 students. These coordinators will provide essential academic and non-academic support, build strong relationships to unlock students’ potential, and ensure they have the resources needed to thrive.
