The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts its first annual State of the Community address.
This new event is an opportunity for members, business leaders and the general public to hear first-hand from executive leadership of the City of Charlottesville, Albemarle County and the University of Virginia.
Speakers will discuss the economic impact of their respective organizations on our community, with the goal of building economic success and regional prosperity.
University of Virginia: UVA President James E. Ryan
County of Albemarle: County Executive Jeff Richardson
City of Charlottesville: Interim City Manager Michael C. Rogers; Deputy City Manager for Racial Equity, Diversity, and InclusionAshley Reynolds Marshall; and Deputy City Manager for Operations Sam Sanders.
We expect the inaugural State of the Community event will set the stage for an annual must-attend signature Chamber event for the private, public and nonprofit sectors.
