Thank you! \n\n\n\nThe Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce hosts its first annual State of the Community address.\n\n \n\nThis new event is an opportunity for members\, business leaders and the general public to hear first-hand from executive leadership of the City of Charlottesville\, Albemarle County and the University of Virginia.\n\n \n\nSpeakers will discuss the economic impact of their respective organizations on our community\, with the goal of building economic success and regional prosperity.\n\n \n\nUniversity of Virginia: UVA President James E. Ryan\n\nCounty of Albemarle: County Executive Jeff Richardson\n\nCity of Charlottesville: Interim City Manager Michael C. Rogers\; Deputy City Manager for Racial Equity\, Diversity\, and InclusionAshley Reynolds Marshall\; and Deputy City Manager for Operations Sam Sanders.\n\n \n\nWe expect the inaugural State of the Community event will set the stage for an annual must-attend signature Chamber event for the private\, public and nonprofit sectors. \n\n \n\nBe part of one of the very first events at the new Center of Developing Entrepreneurs (CODE) building on Charlottesville's Downtown Mall.\n\n\n\nPlease review the Chamber's current COVID precautions. All attendees must provide (a) proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR (b) proof of a negative COVID test within the previous 72 hours. Face masks are required indoors. Seating will be limited to allow space for social distancing.\n\n\n\nBoxed lunches will be delivered around 12:30pm.
