CANCELED: Minority Business Alliance (MBA)
Given that the Commonwealth of Virginia is now in a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 virus, the Chamber is suspending non-critical meetings for the time being and following the CDC's guidelines.
Regretfully, we must cancel all chamber committee and other meetings until April 1.
The health and safety of our business community is of the utmost importance to us. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Topic: Accessing Capital
Speaker(s): Representatives from Community Investment Collaborative, The Fountain Fund and the City of Charlottesville Office of Economic Development
Is your business ready for growth? Are you concerned about where the money will come from to grow your business? Representatives from three local organizations will share information about the resources they have for accessing capital. They will also share what steps to take to determine when to seek funding for growth-centered operating costs, as well as what is involved with getting fully prepared for such funding requests.
The purpose of the Minority Business Alliance is to convene, support and promote minority business professionals; leveraging local business and nonprofit partners to expand community wealth building.
Monthly meetings include networking, guest speakers, activities and more.
