Business Women's Round Table
Join the Business Women’s Round Table on June 18 as we continue an important conversation around Inclusion & Culture through a thoughtful and engaging panel discussion. This month’s conversation will explore how belonging, identity, and workplace culture shape the way we lead, collaborate, and support the people around us—both professionally and personally. Featuring perspectives from Marianne Kish, Kieran Segaloff, Carrington Epperton, and Yolonda Burgess, this discussion is designed to be conversational, honest, and interactive, with opportunities for audience engagement throughout the evening. Whether you come to learn, reflect, share your own perspective, or simply connect with other women in our community, we’d love to have you join us.
This program builds on the meaningful dialogue that began at our 2025 Connections Luncheon, continuing the conversation around how inclusion, belonging, and organizational culture influence the way we lead, collaborate, and create impact across our workplaces and community. Attendees can expect both personal insight and practical perspective they can carry into their own leadership and professional environments.
Our panel brings together women whose lived experiences and professional work reflect different dimensions of inclusion, identity, culture, and belonging, including:
• Marianne Kish, Director of Community Engagement, Visiting Angels — offering perspective on cultural identity, caregiving, and community connection, including insights rooted in Filipino culture
• Kieran Segaloff, Fingerprint Photo Studio — LGBTQ photographer and activist sharing perspective on visibility, identity, and inclusive representation
• Carrington Epperton, Chanterelle Café — former UVA professional and now business owner, bringing a people-centered lens on hospitality, experience, and belonging
• Yolonda Burgess, Principal Broker & Founder, YB Cares Realty — focused on helping individuals and families build stability and financial freedom through homeownership and education
What to Expect:
• A moderated panel discussion (not a formal presentation)
• A collaborative and conversational format
• Audience engagement and Q&A
• Honest perspectives, practical insight, and thoughtful dialogue
