Aging in Place Business Network (AIPBN)
Featured nonprofit: Jefferson Area Board for Aging (JABA)
Aging is a lifelong process; it's something we do everyday. As we age, we want to remain active, engaged and independent as much as possible. JABA offers information and a wide range of services that help older adults and individuals with disabilities remain active in the community. JABA has been serving individuals and caregivers along the journey of aging since 1975.
In addition to an informative presentation by JABA staff, attendees will also enjoy:
- coffee and donuts
- networking
- tours
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The mission of the Chamber Aging in Place Business Network is to provide education about local businesses and services that support personal choice and vitality in the second half of life, and to provide a forum to develop relationships with the members of the roundtable who serve in that community.
