Chamber Champions Program - 2027 Cohort Application

To ensure our future Champions are informed, credible, and confident advocates, applicants must demonstrate active engagement prior to acceptance into the program, including attendance at a minimum of 10 Chamber events over a six-month period prior to applying.


Why This Matters


We believe our Champions should already be actively engaged in Chamber programming before serving in this leadership role.


Attending at least 10 events over six months ensures that Champions:


• Understand the breadth of Chamber offerings

• Build authentic relationships within the membership

• Experience multiple program types (networking, signature events, policy, educational programs, etc.)

• Can speak knowledgeably and confidently about the value of membership

• Serve as credible peer advocates when recruiting and welcoming others


Champions don’t just promote the Chamber — they speak from experience.


Chamber Champions applications are being accepted October 26 through November 20. The 2027 cohort will be selected the week of November 30. Champion services will commence January 2027 following orientation.
The Chamber Champions Program is a member-benefit ambassador program designed to strengthen and support our member community by fostering connection, engagement, and visibility across our Chamber network. ‎Chamber Champions are more than member volunteers—they are well-connected professionals and Chamber advocates who leverage their influence through community presence, industry leadership, and online platforms to amplify the Chamber's mission and programs, advocate for membership and engagement, and connect members to opportunities and each other. ‎

Being a Chamber Champion requires active participation at Chamber events and regular champion meetings. Therefore, it is important that applicants have the full support of the company/organization they will represent in the program. By submitting this application, you acknowledge that you have discussed this commitment with your employer/supervisor and that they fully support your participation in the Chamber Champions Program.
