BWRT Emerging Professional Award - 2025 Nominations

This award recognizes an up-and-coming professional woman who makes an impact and shows exceptional talent as a future business leader.
Award Description
The Emerging Professional Award recognizes an up-and-coming professional woman in the greater Charlottesville region who makes an impact through her personal involvement in business, community projects, and volunteering, while exhibiting exceptional talent as a future business leader. She is an exemplary role model, breaking barriers and traditional silos with proven leadership success. Rising in a new profession, she is a woman of influence and inspiration in the community.
Award Criteria (1)
The nominee may be an employee of an existing for-profit company, non-profit organization or a self-employed professional. She must be in her first profession or transitioned career and have been working in the field for less than ten years. Nominees for this award do NOT have to be Chamber members.
Award Criteria (2)
The nominee must illustrate progress toward personal and professional growth, demonstrate continued acceptance of additional responsibilities and have made significant contributions to her work environment as a future business leader. Criteria to be evaluated include upward career mobility, leadership skills and a promising future.
