Cville Band Spring Concert

The Charlottesville Band is excited to return to PVCC’s Dickinson Theater to open our 103rd season of free, live performances.  Our Spring program will feature some new music as well as old favorites, and will also feature Eric Chen, the winner of our 2025 Murphy Concerto Competition, performing Clare Grundman’s Concertante for Alto Sax.

We will also be performing with the 10 recipients of our Centennial Music Scholarship, providing private lessons to City and County middle school students.  This year’s recipients represent most every instrument in the Band as well as a variety of public middle schools in Charlottesville and Albemarle.
