Since 1960, The Center has provided healthy aging opportunities that are proven to promote independence, lower health and long-term care costs, and reduce demand for social services.
In The Center community, one person in five is 65 years of age or older; many will live another 20 years. Aging is a community issue that impacts planning, economic development, the workforce, social services, health care, and families. Healthy aging is an economic opportunity- healthy seniors contribute as consumers, family caregivers, and volunteer, setting a positive example for us all.
