Speaker: John M. Owen IV, Taylor Professor of Politics at UVA and Senior Fellow at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Culture and the Miller Center for Public Affairs
Over seven months ago, Russia invaded the Ukraine leading to thousands of deaths, the largest refugee crisis in Europe since WW II, a displaced population, global food shortages and supply chain issues particularly in the energy sector. What is the significance to us of an event that is happening halfway around the world? Come to this extremely important DAC meeting to hear and understand the impact and why we should be concerned.
