Starting this March, Hospice of the Piedmont will offer a free quarterly virtual event series called Community Conversations. The events will be community conversations around different end-of-life topics.
The first event will take place at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, and will focus on taking control of your medical care and finding your voice as a patient at the end of life. Community Conversations: Finding Your Voice at the End of Life will include a thought-provoking dialogue between our President & CEO Ron Cottrell and Dr. Tim Short, the Chief Medical Officer & Director, Education Institute.
Participants will have the chance to learn more about our patient-centered options for comfort and care after a life-limiting diagnosis. A Q&A segment will allow participants to ask their specific questions or concerns about hospice, palliative care, or other topics related to end-of-life.
