\nUnited Way of Greater Charlottesville is thrilled to announce the official public launch of \;
Envision\, a new five-year campaign to \;help lift 1\,800 families out of poverty. To celebrate\, United Way is hosting the \;Envision Community Block Party at IX Art Park on Thursday\, October 14 from 5-8pm.

\nThis free\, outdoor event will feature live music from local artists Free Union and Elise Underwood &\; Friends\, dinner from Angelic&rsquo\;s\, Basan\, and Sombrero&rsquo\;s (free kids meals from Pearl Island before 7pm)\, and an opportunity to learn more about Envision from United Way staff and partner organizations.

\nKeep an eye out for the Envision fundraising raffle\, which has been bolstered with incredible contributions from
Minority Business Alliance members.

\nAttendees will also have the chance to sample the first in a beer collaboration series with Three Notch&rsquo\;d Brewery\, the \;Envision Easy-Drinking Lager. Don&rsquo\;t leave without your copy of &ldquo\;Uncommon Spaces&rdquo\; &ndash\; the first edition of a community coloring book highlighting inclusive places and spaces around Charlottesville.
