DESCRIPTION:Finding Your Why\n\n\n\nThis session will focus on how having a vision and mission can motivate you and your whole team.\n\n\n\nSpeakers: Emily Kilroy\, Assistant to the County Executive for Albemarle County\, will present alongside Serena Gruia\, the County's Public Engagement Coordinator.\n\n\n\nEmily serves as Assistant to the County Executive\, overseeing the County's Communications and Public Engagement efforts\, as well as the County's legislative work locally and at the state level. Emily has a Masters in Urban & Environmental Planning from UVA and a Bachelors in International Relations from American University.\n\n\n\nSerena serves as the Public Engagement Coordinator\, connecting local government with the community we serve through creative public participation and conversation design strategies   online\, in-person\, and out in the community in our mobile field office. Serena has a Bachelors in Urban Studies from Virginia Tech.\n\n\nThe Business Women's Round Table (BWRT) was founded in 2004. Its purpose is to honor\, engage and inspire each other so that we elevate women's professional presence. By doing so\, we drive business\, economic and community development in the Charlottesville region.
